1. Objective
- Outmaneuver or disable the opposing robot within the designated combat arena.
- A robot may be declared defeated if it becomes immobilised, exits the arena or meets another event-specific defeat condition.
2. Approved Systems
- Only mechanisms approved during technical inspection may be used.
- Weapons or mechanisms that create unreasonable risk to participants, spectators or venue equipment are prohibited.
3. Arena Conduct
- Teams must never attack outside the arena.
- Deliberately targeting a person, controller, cable or safety equipment is prohibited.
- Judges may pause or terminate a match for safety, arena damage or rule violations.
4. Safety
- All robots must pass technical inspection.
- Organisers may stop, isolate or remove an unsafe robot at any time.
- Event-day safety instructions take precedence over general baseline requirements.
