1. Objective
- Score more valid points than the opposing side.
- The team with the higher valid score at the end of the match wins, subject to the referee’s decision.
2. Gameplay
- Robots must remain within the playing area.
- Only registered operators may control the robot during a match.
- Restart procedures, scoring, out-of-bounds situations and match duration are explained during the event briefing.
3. Fair Play
- Intentional damage to another robot is not permitted.
- Deliberate pushing, trapping or unsafe contact beyond permitted game conditions may be penalised.
- Referee decisions during a match are final unless an official review process is announced.
4. Safety
- Robots must pass technical inspection before entering the playing area.
- Unsafe mechanisms may be stopped or removed by organisers.
IMPORTANT: Event-day briefing, technical inspection and judge instructions may provide additional arena-specific requirements. Those safety instructions take precedence where stricter.
