Robo Soccer Rules

Control your robot with accuracy, move the game object and score more valid points than the opposition.

TECHNICAL INSPECTIONFAIR PLAYSAFETY PROTOCOL

1. Objective

  • Score more valid points than the opposing side.
  • The team with the higher valid score at the end of the match wins, subject to the referee’s decision.

2. Gameplay

  • Robots must remain within the playing area.
  • Only registered operators may control the robot during a match.
  • Restart procedures, scoring, out-of-bounds situations and match duration are explained during the event briefing.

3. Fair Play

  • Intentional damage to another robot is not permitted.
  • Deliberate pushing, trapping or unsafe contact beyond permitted game conditions may be penalised.
  • Referee decisions during a match are final unless an official review process is announced.

4. Safety

  • Robots must pass technical inspection before entering the playing area.
  • Unsafe mechanisms may be stopped or removed by organisers.
IMPORTANT: Event-day briefing, technical inspection and judge instructions may provide additional arena-specific requirements. Those safety instructions take precedence where stricter.
